New Leaf Skin & Beauty appreciates your business and we understand you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice.

To secure your appointment, a minimum 50% deposit may be required at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied toward your treatment total on the day of your appointment.

We kindly ask that any appointment changes or cancellations are made with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations, reschedules, or non-attendance within 24 hours of your appointment may result in your deposit being forfeited. This helps cover the time and resources reserved especially for you, including therapist availability and treatment preparation.

If you need to cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your appointment, your deposit can be refunded or transferred to a future booking.

If you are unable to attend your appointment at short notice, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place for the same treatment time, where suitable.

Thank you for respecting our time and supporting our small business. These policies help us continue providing the highest level of care, service, and availability to all clients.

To the extent permitted by law, booking deposits are non-refundable outside of the terms outlined above. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

Gift Voucher Bookings

Gift voucher appointments must be booked directly with the salon via phone or email so our team can assist you with your booking and voucher details.

Please note that our standard 24-hour cancellation policy also applies to gift voucher bookings. Cancellations, reschedules, or non-attendance within 24 hours of your appointment may result in 50% of the gift voucher value being redeemed to cover the reserved treatment time.

We kindly ask that you bring your physical gift voucher with you to your appointment, as we may not always be able to retrieve voucher details within our system.

This refers to prepaid treatments:

If you choose not to complete your repaid course of treatments. A Credit will be placed on your New Leaf Skin & Beauty Account based on the balance after deducting the number of treatments given recalculated at the regular price (if discounted).

There’s no charge if you cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours notice. Late cancellation (less than 24 hours) or no-show (or too late arrival) of appointments will be charged in full as if you had the treatment.

Treatments must be completed within the specified time period set during your consultation unless a time extension has been agreed by us in writing. Otherwise any balance will be treated as if a Credit (see above).

Any account credit will expire 12 months from the date of original payment date — unused credit after this time will be forfeited.

For IPL treatments

You will be charged in full if we need to cancel your treatment because you have arrived without having followed the laser pre-treatment care requirements (e.g. treatment area shaved, no recent tan, etc.).

• Shave treatment area at least 12-24 hours prior to your treatment
• 4 weeks prior to IPL treatment:
  • Avoid chemical peels or laser resurfacing treatments
  • Do not wax, use depilatory creams or pluck hairs
  • Do not have direct sun exposure. (Any kind of tanning or active sunbathing, with or without SPF).
• Allow 2 weeks prior to your treatment if you have had incidental sun exposure (stayed in the shade for the majority of the time during sunny periods, with or without SPF on).
• At least 3 days before your treatment, exfoliate the treatment area
• 24 hours before your treatment:
  • Ensure all fake tan is removed and there is no residual fake tan present on the skin
  • Avoid using topical creams, moisturisers, body oils, colognes or perfumes to the area being treated

For your convenience gift vouchers can be purchased online and emailed directly to you to gift to a loved one or colleague. Gift vouchers are available for either a dollar value or specific treatment. Our vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Gift vouchers can be purchased in the salon, online, by telephone or email.

The physical Gift Voucher or Voucher Number must be retained by the client for proof of purchase.
